What qualifications do I need to be a member of Cashew? How do I join?
Currently, anyone over the ages of 18, living in Canada, fluent in English, with an email address is eligible to join the Cashew research panel. We aim to have members with different backgrounds, cultures and beliefs to be part of the Cashew panel.
Get started today by downloading our app off of the App Store. For our Android users, we are still hard at work in development so stay tuned for when that will be available on the Google Play Store.
How do I know I have a survey to participate in?
When we have a new survey ready for you, you will be sent a notification with more details that will take you directly to the survey.
Having troubles getting paid or didn't see it in your bank account?
After you have completed a survey, money will be added to your Cashew wallet. You can cash out starting at $10.00, which will be deposited directly into your bank account via Interac e-Transfer. Please contact us here if you are experiencing any issues with payment.
How does Cashew protect my privacy? How will you use or share my survey results?
Everything we do at Cashew is guided by a core principle of protecting our member’s digital right to privacy. That is our commitment to you. Cashew will never provide, sell or profit off of any personal data to third parties.
We will never ask you to provide Personally Identifiable Information (PII) , information that can be used to identify a particular individual (e.g., name, date of birth, address etc).
The results of each survey are aggregated and we do not link any personal information with survey answers. By grouping your opinions with those of other Cashew members, there is no way to identify you as a participant.
Is participation anonymous?
Your participation as a Cashew member will always be anonymous and results of a survey will never be traced back to you. Please read our data and privacy policy.
How do I get started or partner with Cashew?
Getting started on your next research project is quick and easy. Head on over to our Launchpad to create a free account. From there, you can watch tutorials and start exploring Cashew’s platform to get your project up and running in no time.
Can I do qualitative research with Cashew?
Right now, our platforms allow researchers to conduct quantitative studies. However we’re continuously working on developing new features to fulfill other research needs.
What profiling information does Cashew collect on participants?
We understand the importance of knowing the audience you are connecting with. We profile our Cashew members on certain preferences and behaviours. All of which is available to you when you are picking your audience, so you can be sure you are reaching the right people.
You can also set up custom profiling questions in your surveys.
We will never ask our panelists to provide Personally Identifiable Information (PII) , information that can be used to identify a particular individual (e.g., name, date of birth, address etc).
